In 2009, we wanted to build an outdoor living space and sought a general contractor that would have detail precision and high quality craftsmanship. After speaking with several people from church, many spoke about the integrity and building capabilities of Dave Collin. On our first consultation, Dave Collin was examining the landscape and immediately noticed the way water would flow towards the crawlspace. He gave insight on maintenance, water erosion, and the types of materials that would be aligned with our low maintenance outdoor requirements. He provided landscape layouts and even procured the best cost to seal our crawlspace and prevent any water corrosion. Even the partners he used to perform the insulation or plumbing needed to pass his standards of quality. More importantly, each Trex plank he laid were meticulously lined up to the point where the screws were perfectly placed to produce a cohesive pattern or design and not just random placements. He also used colors to match the deck with the stone pillars and curved Trex materials to emulate the effect of simple lines and smooth tapering. In terms of attention to detail, even the removal of rubbish or waste materials were done daily and always kept the principle of leaving the place better than when he first entered. In summary, Custom Backyard Adventures was truly a remarkable journey of how you transform your outdoor yard to a place where living goes beyond your home.
